The equipment and hardware that will be used in space shuttle Atlantis' upcoming mission to NASA's Hubble Space Telescope was loaded into the shuttle's payload bay at Kennedy Space Center's Launch Pad 39A in Florida on Sept. 25. During its 11-day mission designated STS-125, Atlantis' seven astronauts will install two new instruments in Hubble, as well as replace the Fine Guidance Sensor. Atlantis is targeted to launch Oct. 14.
